About Me..

My journey into this field is deeply personal: At 36 yrs old, on the very day I started my doctoral program, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I pushed through treatment while in school, and graduated on time. That experience gave me a unique perspective—not only as a clinician, but as someone who has lived through the lasting effects of treatment.
