In this 45 min class I will walk you thru the 5 Pilates Principles that will help set a solid foundation for future classes and practices! We also get into some basic Pilates exercises while applying principles.

5 Principles:

1. Breathing

2. Cervical Placement

3. Pelvic Placement

4. Ribcage Placement

5. Scapula Stability/Mobility

This series will work at a pace that is appropriate for someone new to Pilates. We will also walk through many modification options for common exercises you will see in classes. The goal is to help build your confidence so you can enter a group setting and know what options work best for you even if you are not given them!
